Power Fist Shirt

The black fist is recognized in the United States with the black struggle for civil rights, but the clenched fists symbolic history goes back to the 19th century when the gesture was used to represent the courage of revolutionaries against the European monarchies. The raised fist is also a symbol of solidarity, unity, strength, defiance and resistance. 
 
The gesture has a long-standing history as a symbol of defiance and is associated with both left-wing politics as well as oppressed groups. In 2020, The Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement brought the power fist back to the forefront. That even though we have made great strides, we are far from the finish line.
